The objective of Science Week each year is to promote the relevance of science, technology, engineering and maths and to demonstrate their importance to the future of Irish society and to the country’s economy. Co-ordinated by Science Foundation Ireland, Science Week 2013 runs from 10 to 17 November and is a collaboration of events run by Irish colleges, schools, libraries, teachers, community groups, researchers and students.
